Outside Paula Jossart's office door there is a sign which reads, "Beware of Attack Lawyer." The sign speaks volumes about her tenacity, energy and dedication in representing injured people across the country. Whether the claim is big or small, standard or complex, Paula believes that everyone's claim demands the same kind of attention and care and that is what she gives.
Paula was named one of the Attorneys of the Year for the State of Minnesota for her work on a case involving serious burns to a man who was working on a boiler at a swimming pool in which she eventually obtained a $12.5 million verdict.
According to Paula, "Our attorneys are not afraid to push the boundaries, not afraid to go to the limit of trying a case if need be so that you can have your day in court. We offer aggressive, competent representation because we care and believe in each one of our clients.”
Paula focuses her practice on litigating personal injury, motor vehicle accidents, toxic torts, railroad accidents and wrongful death claims, as well as FELA cases. She was one of the lead attorneys in the claims involving the largest anhydrous ammonia spill in the country where she unearthed documentation indicating possible destruction of evidence by the defendant in that case.
She is originally from North Dakota and began working for Yaeger, Jungbauer & Barczak as a law clerk while attending William Mitchell College of Law.
She has been named a Rising Star Super Lawyer in 2005, 2007 and 2008.
